Monster Climb Challenge 2015 will be held on 3rd May 2015, Sunday 7am. This 3 mountains with 7 climbs challenge is one of the largest cycling event in Malaysia. This challenge will have you pushing your limits for the thrill of the challenge!
This 42km on road challenge starts and finishes at Kompleks Sukan Balik Pulau located at Balik Pulau, Penang, Malaysia. The ride passes Jalan Balik Pulau, Jalan Teluk Kumbar, Jalan Bayan Lepas, Jalan Tun Dr Awang, Bukit Jambul, Jalan Tun Sardon and Jalan Sungai Nipah. There will be 4 water stations and 4 check points.
There will be 6 categories for this Monster Climb Challenge. You can choose to participate in either one of the categorie.
A) Road Bike Open (age 14-39)
B) Road Bike Veteran (age 40-49)
C) Road Bike Senior Veteran (age 50-99)
D) Mountain Bike Open (age 14-39)
E) Mountain Bike Veteran (age 40-49)
F) Mountain Bike Senior Veteran (age 50-99) First 100 finishers from Open Categories, first 50 finishers from Veteran Categories and first 50 finishers from Senior Veteran Categories will be awarded with Ranking Medal. Completion of any challenge within 4 hours will be awarded with a Finisher Medal.
Participants of “Monster Climb Challenge” are entitled for ONE Complementary Lunch (Halal). Our caterer's specialty is traditional Malay food, home cooked using the finest and freshest ingredients possible. Prepared by Muslims, they are guaranteed Halal. All dishes are prepared in a hygienic environment. All the great foundation for extra tasty food.
