旅游保险 Travel Insurance

一个坏人

请问各位已经/即将/打算去纽西兰打工度假有打算/已经买了旅游保险吗？

注:我不是买保险的。只是想知道大家有什么看法而已。

老实情人

建议要买旅游保险最好是在购买机票后的一个星期内购买。 万一你在起飞之前遇到突发状况不能飞，可以要求赔偿。

如果是指在纽西兰居住期间的保险的话，我完全没买 旅游保险买jetstar时候也没买
其实纽西兰有一个很好的东西叫 ACC，只要在纽西兰境内自动受保 。有其他背包客爬山扭伤还搭直升机出来，不用钱的 车祸受伤的话 ACC也有保医疗。
不过ACC只保意外的伤害的治疗等等。生病ACC是不保的。
纽西兰医药费是超级贵的，不过我对健康还有信心所以也没买

不过如果驾车没有很小心的话，我觉得3rd party车险很重要。很多背包客不小心撞车后因为修车费几乎破产被逼回国

travel insurance 要详细的读受保细节。很多时候如果你离开马来西亚3个月/半年或者在某个国家呆超过一个时间限制，travel insurance就不再有保。医药的受保金额可能也不多。

对，只要人在纽西兰，不管你是来working holiday还是旅游，还是你是纽西兰人等，都有ACC cover。
ACC保障全部发生在纽西兰的意外而已。

我去NZ working holiday时候也有考虑过要买保险的问题，也有查了orbit protection的quotation，做了一点功课
orbit protection的working holiday险是有包括工作和生病等的 cover 的。不过我当时也只是大概读了它的细节，而且我也不曾卖过保险所以有没有什么hidden condition我就不知道啦
到最后我还是什么都没买

我们working holiday不管在干什么，总之意外受伤都有cover!

ACC does not cover:
-illness
-non-traumatic hernias, eg from coughing or sneezing, or not directly as a result of trauma
-injuries that come on gradually and are not due to a work task (non-occupational gradual process injuries)
生病和那些长期姿势不良导致的病痛ACC没有cover哦！

上次读了一个人的blog,她去NZ Working Holiday 时发生了严重的车祸，还好当时她有买Insurance。

若 ACC 基本都保injury了。。大家还考虑购买orbit protect 吗。

没错的话生病的医生费用得超过NZD 50还是100 才会compensate. .

有谁可以介绍那些旅游意外 cover而ACC保险不涵盖。。和 orbit protect 涵盖

如下:

ACC DOESN'T COVER:

illness

non-traumatic hernias, eg from coughing or sneezing, or not directly as a result of trauma

injuries that come on gradually and are not due to a work task (non-occupational gradual process injuries)

damage to items that do not replace body parts such as hearing aids, glasses, pacemakers and gastric bands

...disrupted travel plans or emergency travel to get you back home

If you are injured while aboard the boat or plane on which you travelled to New Zealand, or in getting on or off that boat or plane

if you are injured while travelling around the country in the craft you arrived in, such as a yacht or cruise ship. You are not covered whenever you are on board or on the gangway

if you take an excursion during your visit that takes you 300 nautical miles or more from New Zealand
(有去Fiji, tasmania, new Caledonia的应该得另外购保)

我猜ACC只是解释什么叫 physical injury吧。比如万一遇上车祸，擦伤骨折就叫physical injury。如果只是觉得痛而外表等都检测不出的伤的话ACC就不管吧。

我觉得如果担心的话，买保险可以让自己打工度假得安心是不错的。
虽然我没买保险
