KDU和ACCA合作推出Degree以便可以快速考取ACCA

KDU将会在今年8月推出与ACCA合作的Accounting Degree，以让能最快速度考获ACCA专业资格。

ACCA AND KDU IN AGREEMENT

ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and KDU University College (KDU UC) signed a Memorandum of Agreement today which provides its accounting degree students with an accelerated pathway into the ACCA Qualification in the final year of their studies. This agreement follows a collaboration officiated last year where ACCA and KDU UC agree to work together to develop a unique three-year accounting degree programme which incorporates the ACCA syllabus.

This new three-year accounting degree programme is expected to be launched in August 2013, in which students can claim nine paper exemptions from ACCA – the maximum number of exemptions provided by ACCA – and proceed to take up the Professional papers of the ACCA Qualification in the final year of their studies. Hence, students who opt into this pathway may simultaneously earn the ACCA Qualification as well as KDU's Bachelor of Accounting degree. （学生能在Degree第三年一边考Degree一边考ACCA。）

Speaking at the signing ceremony, ACCA's chief executive Helen Brand, said: "This conditional exemption is the first of its kind in Malaysia that ACCA offers for a three-year Bachelor of Accounting programme. As the leading global body for professional accountants, ACCA is dedicated to work with strategic partners to groom the next generation of business leaders. This latest collaboration demonstrates our confidence in KDU UC’s ability to nurture our future ACCA members to be complete finance professionals – that is, professionals equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills across all aspects of finance and business."

This agreement was signed at a special ceremony where ACCA also presented KDU UC with the Platinum seal of approval in the ACCA Approved Learning Partners (ALP)–Student Tuition scheme, the highest and most prestigious level of approval for universities and colleges globally under ACCA’s ALP programme.

To be considered for the Platinum level of recognition, tuition providers must meet the challenging performance targets that have been demonstrated to attain Gold approval, the tuition provider must also meet further targets relating to the way the institution is run and how the ACCA courses are delivered. A Platinum approved institution must also demonstrate that their students’ examination results meet set pass-rate targets and that they are consistent.

With this latest award, KDU UC is recognised to be a leading provider of high quality tuition and support that they offer ACCA students in Malaysia. To date, there are 22 ACCA approved learning partners in Malaysia, out of which only six are awarded Platinum status.

对，学费方面又比双联课程便宜, 包括了 internship parchment with audit firm.

是咯，與其提供那些海外三流大學學位倒不如給本身學位+專業資格。
譬如會計配ACCA/CIMA/CFA/CTIM，商管配CMI/ICSA/CIPS，市場學配CIM，人力資源管理配CIPD，銀行金融配CIB/CPA/CFP/MFPC，物流管理配CILT，電腦配BCS等等等等。

以前这个特权只有TARC有。就是Advanced Diploma cum ACCA。（不知道升级后是否会变成Degree cum ACCA？）

TARC又要和KDU竞争了。

然后，以后的的学生又多了一个好的选择。

有好有坏,毕竟不是每个进去读的人有办法适应acca的考试,而且acca的考试太多不定性了,很有挑战

赞成， 其实就看个人造化。

其实这个课程的好处是，如果自己不适应， 学生可以选择拿2nd major 如finance , economics 等等的Subjects to replace 5 ACCA professional papers. 毕业就和一般的一样 exempted for 9 papers.  flexibility , 要快的就是用3年Degree里完成acca. +3 年 工作经验就拿 C.A. 咯。 主要卖点是快，而且是那些想要同时考取学士和ACCA.

UNIRAZAK也與CIMA合作啦，看來這個應該是3年課程吧，沒CPA那個需4年。

UNIRAZAK與四機構聯盟

在短短3個月內，敦阿都拉薩大學（UNIRAZAK）已經陸續與四所主要教育機構，建立正式聯盟，提供學生及員工進行各種研究、學術及教育性質活動的全球管道，再度加強該大學的傑出表現。

　該大學今年的首個聯盟活動，是于1月15日和澳洲麥考瑞大學簽署諒解備忘錄，后者是該國首要的研究型大學；敦阿都拉薩大學的師生以后將有機會參與麥考瑞大學的研究項目，通過交換計劃和麥考瑞團隊合作，開拓國際視野。

　接著五天后即1月20日，該大學又和巴黎第12大學（UPEC）簽署諒解備忘錄，給予師生另一個出國深造的選擇。之后于3月6日，英國特許管理會計師公會（CIMA）也和該大學簽署了備忘錄，把該公會的課程單元與現有課程整合，讓學生可以在敦阿都拉薩大學就讀的同時，獲取世界公認的會計資格，以及更順利成為CIMA的會員。

　同樣在3月，大馬回教銀行與金融機構（IBFIM）也于13日和該大學簽署備忘錄，雙方決定共同推廣回教金融價值，並提供學生更快考取回教財務策劃師（IFP）資格的管道。同時，該大學亦受委為IBFIM課程的培訓中心。

UniRAZAK看来又是一个Accounting Course不错的选择。
话说回来，与他们合作的Babson College在Entrepreneurship排名美国第一，比Stanford, MIT, Harvard还强。

其他私立大学很难跟UniRAZAK比啊。

而且他們的B.Tax.好像是全國獨一無二的，並且是與CTIM和MATA合作。
他們的學費也不是很離譜，只是馬來人比較多導致華人都跑去UTAR/TARC了。
不過我到現在都有些搞不明白UNIRAZAK和UNITAR到底是怎麼一回事？？？
兩家都是敦阿都拉萨，只是一家是大學，一家是國際大學，他們是不是曾鬧分家了？

不止Tax，我也觉得UniRAZAK的Islamic Finance独一无二。

UNITAR和UniRAZAK的Campus位置一模一样。

我也很好奇。

可能是Distance Learning给了UNITAR吧，而Homegrown programme则是UniRAZAK。

不過UNITAR就沒有UNIRAZAK那麼多響噹噹的合作夥伴了。

这个program很考验学生，我现在单单拿acca都有点吃不消了，特别是最后的五张
更何况加过一个degre
