Normally, replacing Nokia’s phone battery is not an issue, but for this model – N8, user need some tools assistance in order to remove the battery.  Fortunately, Nokia had provided the Nokia N8 Disassembly – Assembly Service Manual.  This guide will assist user to replace battery them self without visiting or shipping to repair center.
10 easy steps to replace Nokia N8 Battery:-
1. Unscrewed Torx+ 4 size screw on both side of the phone( 7 full turn).  Do not remove the screw completely

2. Pull out the Bottom Cover to the direct

3. Lift and pull out the Battery Lid to direction.

4. Remove the Battery by pulling the Pull-out TAPE

5. Attach the Pull-out TAPE on NEW Battery

6. Insert the NEW Battery as SHOWN

7. Place the Shown end Battery Lid and lower down the other end (As shown below).  Caution : the battery Pull-out Tape must left under the Battery Lid.

8. Press and Hold both  of the shown screws in

9. Place the Bottom Cover as shown and press into its place.  If the Cover does not go in properly, loosen up the screws a bit.

10. Hold the Bottom Cover in its place and tighten up the Torx + 4 screws firmly

    iFixit的拆解工具并不复杂就是我们平常用的六角形螺丝刀，整个拆解功能从下方的几个螺丝开始。诺基亚N8采用的是一体式灌注技术因此可以把底座完全卸载。而N8采用的是BL-4D电池，可以进行更换。不过更换的话就需要螺丝刀来拆解，总体来说还是有些不方便的。

        iFixit在评价拆解诺基亚N8容易度方面给出了8分（10分为最容易拆解），并且表示诺基亚N8的大部分配件都可以自己进行更换。而且由于采用通用的AMOLED屏幕连屏幕都可以进行更换，这为想要购买水货N8的朋友敲了一个警钟，翻新产品肯定会在上市几个月后出现。

     诺基亚N8外部用螺丝钉固定，而内部电路板实际上也采用了比较普通的螺丝固定。不过在拆解的时候一定要注意下方的排线，否则很容易拆完装不回去了。

     在经过一番努力后，整个诺基亚N8已经完全被大卸八块。在电路板上可以看到N8采用的是博通BCM2727，工作频率为680MHz，并保持较低功耗。相信各位网友可以通过这篇新闻可以对诺基亚N8有一个更为深入的了解。

如果是原装的 ( 如Maxis Zitron), 这方法可能不行. 因为screw那边有warranty sticker, 一开的话, 就会破了. (除非warranty claim的时候, zitron 或 Nokia Care Center 完全不需要看这些sticker, 只要warranty card & 看IMEI就行)

无论是原装还是AP, 若真的要自行换电池, 最好先询问及确定, 问看开了的话会影响warranty吗...或给他们换就不会影响warranty等等...
