When you read gopeng financial report you might wonder how come revenue 4 million+ but Profit is 11 million. Most of their profit from this associate company -- Perak-Hanjoong Simen Sdn Bhd

Perak-Hanjoong is the second largest integrated cement producer in the country with a 16% share of the domestic cement and clinker markets. Operating two plants located in Padang Rengas, Perak, Perak-Hanjoong has a plant capacity of 3.0 million metric tonnes (MT) per annum for clinker and 3.4 million MT per annum for cement, both of which are manufactured for local and export markets. The company also has a cement depot and packing plant in Batu Caves, with an annual capacity of 600,000 MT. Perak-Hanjoong’s products are marketed under the trade name “Camel”.

Gopeng own 35.16% of Perak-Hanjoong Simen Sdn Bhd
64.84% own by YTL-cement, are they both doing good ? Oh yeah...

2.2        Justification and basis of determining the Disposal Consideration

The Disposal Consideration was arrived at on a “willing buyer-willing seller” basis after taking into consideration the following:

(i)        a historical price earnings multiple of approximately 4.9 times based on the audited profit after tax of Perak-Hanjoong for the financial year ended (“FYE”) 30 June 2010 of RM116.1 million; and

(ii)        the audited net assets (“NA”) of Perak-Hanjoong as at 30 June 2010 of approximately RM666.1 million.

（吉隆坡5日訊）務邊（GOPENG,2135,主板工業產品組）因符合淨利、現金流等上市條例，將從7月5日起脫離PN17公司行列。

該公司發文告表示，交易所考量所有論據和情況後，批准公司無須遵守大馬交易所8.04（3）上市條例，將從7月5日起脫離PN17行列。

務邊在今年5月向交易所申請豁免遵守大馬交易所8.04（3）上市條例，以及從PN17公司除名，主要是種植業務連續4個財政年取得稅前營運盈利，而集團和子公司（除霹靂韓重洋灰私人有限公司）截至2010年12月31日止財政年都錄得淨利。

另外，務邊截至今年3月31日止，取得正面現金流和1億3千500萬令吉現金盈餘，而截至2010年12月31日止，稽查淨流動資產約為1億8千710萬令吉，總股東基金為3億4千630萬令吉，並未觸及任何PN17準則。（星洲日報／財經）

根据务边向大马交易所报备，该公司的上市编号和简称将维持不变。
务边是基于该公司的商业活动和核心商业活动的盈利贡献出现变化，而要求换组别交易。

派息有待確定‧務邊短期窄幅游走

（吉隆坡22日訊）務邊（GOPENG，2135，主板種植組）現金充裕，分析員看好這家料在未來兩個月內公佈派息公司的短期表現。

豐隆研究根據過往派息紀錄預測，務邊將於4月杪或5月初宣佈派發2012年終期股息。

截至2012年12月止，該公司持有1億1千200萬令吉現金，相等每股62.5仙或股價的86%。

鑒於派息有待確定，豐隆研究預計股價將於短期內持續窄幅遊走，建議趁低買進該股。

自2010年12月以2億令吉完成脫售霹靂韓重洋灰35.16%股權於楊忠禮洋灰後，務邊主要涉及棕油種植業務，截至2012年12月止，總種植地約1千500英畝。（星洲日報／財經）
