我很好奇。量血压的那个东西

你们知道，到底是怎样看的吗？
我每次看医生包一个东西在我们的手臂，然后放听筒在耳朵。
然后pump pump pump pump .可是我很奇怪，我看来看去，每个人pump pump pump就是升高啊，然后有超过200 ， 可是医生说什么高的180 ，底的70 ， 到底怎样看的？ 还是听到的？

可是明明pump超过180了为什么那个医生说180？ 还有针掉下来明明是到零，为什么说70？ 不是说0？

With each beat, your heart contracts, sending a surge of pressure into the bloodstream. This surge period is called systolic (sis-TAHL-ik). It is the first number in a blood pressure reading. After the surge period, your heart rests briefly and expands in preparation for another beat. This expansion period is called diastolic (di-uh-STAHL-ik). It provides the second number in a blood pressure reading. Thus, a blood pressure reading of "120 over 80" means you have a systolic pressure of 120 and a diastolic pressure of 80.
   Doctors generally agree that systolic readings of 120 to 140 and diastolic readings of 70 to 90 are normal. Slightly higher readings---140 to 159 and 90 to 94---are considered mild high blood pressure (mild hypertension). Readings from 160 to 179 and 94 to 114 signal moderate hypertension. Anything above these limits is considered a serious problem.

在下懂的是（很久以前的生物课那节没有睡觉。。。）：首先用那块“布”把你的血管压迫到没有血液流通，然后慢慢放松，计量器上的指标就是当时那块“布”对你的血管所施加的压力，再放那个听筒在血管上听，就可以听到血液“冲”进血管而“撞”到血管壁的声音，第一声就是你的最高血压，之后布的压力慢慢减低，血液也慢慢流进血管，“撞”血管壁的力道也慢慢减低，当听筒里传来最后一声，当时血压计的指标指的就是最低血压。。。大致上就是酱啦~~

比如：在180的时后听到第一声
之后又在110听到最后一声
你的血压便是上面180下面110
这样算高血压了！
普遍上面110-120下面70-80算正常
上面80-90下面40-60算低血压

人的心脏有４个chamber， 两个atrium（ 上面）， 两个ventricles（ 下面）。
左边的vetricles是主要的pump因为它要导致血液能总分的流到身体的个部分。
血压量的就是你的ventricles的pressure。 要多大的压力才可以 overcome resistance of great vessels。
血压的仪器英文叫 SPHYNPGMOMANOMETER。
医生通常都会take pulse来估计你的systolic pressure，
当感觉不到pulse时， 那个数字就是估计的pressure。
量的时候，要pump多２０ 倒３０ mmHg刚才得到的数字， then release cuff 的pressure。 第一声听到的就是systolic pressure。 （ korotkoff sound one）而最后听到的声就时你的diastolic pressure。

假设血压是１３０／８０mmHg， １３０ 是systolic， ８０ 是diastolic。

180是高血压，70是低血压，这是错误的叫法，很容易让人产生误解。

正确来说
180是systolic pressure（收缩压），就是心脏收缩射血的时候，周围血管内的压力；
70是diastolic pressure（舒张压），就是心脏舒张充血的时候，周围血管内的压力。

多说一句，180/70mmHg 不是好事，脉压差已经110mmHg，可能有主动脉瓣关闭不全、高血压病、主动脉硬化、甲亢、严重贫血等等的现象。
请多留意。

may i know what are the consequences of wide range between systole and diastole? and what is the normal range between them. could u write it in english. thank.

as far as i m concerned, vigorous sport also can cos increase range between sys n dial.

as far as i m concerned, vigor ...

that is in medical term call isolated systolic hypertension( if your systolic pressure is high and your diastolic pressure is low)
common causes could be aortic valve incompetence. which is defects in your aortic valve, so when the heart goes into relaxation after contraction,( diastole phase)the defect heart valve could not close properly and cause the blood to flow back into the chamber( flow in an opposite direction). causing a diastolic mumurs
and is common in older age grup as well
