有没有人知道国大的统计学是读关于什么的？
他的课程是不是很挑战？他以后的出路广吗?
还有如果我的积分只有3.17 有可能进路国大的dietetik or food science 吗？ |

1st yr- mathematics + statistics
2nd & 3rd yr- more on statistic like time series, probalility, sampling plan.
i graduate in 1999, so forget some course already lah.
quite interesting compared to mathematics.
他的课程是不是很挑战？
no challenging if pure statistics compared with i minor in economic.
The fakulti name b4 1999: Falkulti Sains Matematik (FSM) also called by us Fakulti sangat Mudah. Quite relax lah.
他以后的出路广吗?
I think OK for now. Esp in manufacturing likes some factory need quality ppl have statistics backgroud.
However, if u got others choice more better lah. |

基本上，读statistik, 并不代表出路是在类似 AC Nielson 的survey 公司工作。也不局限于此类工作。
我伯父当年就是读统计学。最后，他专攻operational statistik的。嗯，比方说，研究巴士在那个时间，用那个路线最快到达目地的又经济的。
要读统计学，要对数字不烦… |

其实我觉得pusat matematik一点都不好score~~~~

机会非常渺小。。。dietetic 需要 3。8左右。。。food science需要3。5左右。。。你可以先参考科系积分了在作决定。。。 |

stil got wat course can be minor when i study statistik course ? then which course choose to be minor will be more good ? then wat u work as now after graduate ? still got other course recommend for biology student like me who only get CGPA 3.17 ? i like ask so much le but i really need the information coz the application 4 U is almost times up le . so thanks 4 the ppl who giving my information lo |

不是！actuarial是接近应用 。。。
可能我之前用＂高级＂这个词不是很对。我应该用＂low－level＂比较对。
越＂高级＂的知识越容易获取。所以在大学里的stats很多偏向这些＂高级＂运用的。方便以后工作。越low－level的stats就越难，不止stats其他如math也是这样。深入研究这些统计／数学理论就必须追溯古人创立这些现代理论的基本哲学。比如一个方程背后所包涵的哲学思维。虽然这些都不能直接在个人生活上运用，但是却是决定整个知识体系向前发展的最根本。唯有了解这些昨天的根本，才能够创立明天的新知识。
不过！如果进来只是想score－A，应该不是很难。只是如果想更上一层楼，就不应该只是放眼区区那些A。 老实说，＂A＂对本鸟来讲根本没有什么意义。 |

你是指minor吗？
国大的统计学好像没有minor的~~~
不像usm的~~~
我在这里三年都没听说有人拿minor~~~~
