可以直接放 I took an aspirin but it didn't help嗎?
還是 I took an aspirin but it does not help?
...
sushi-x 发表于 28-6-2010 01:13 PM
语法正确,但把原句的意思改了。我们的规则是尽量保留原句的意思。 |

I had a terrible headache,I took an aspirin but it did not help ?
我只是想盡量把句子簡單化...
編輯:回這帖時還沒看到#541,不好意思
我在想 did not help和 does not help
上網查了後,看到的是
did not = past tense
does not = present tense
我的問題是,did not help<-可不可以翻譯為之前幫不到,可是現在可能幫到
而 does not help <- 到現在還是幫不到?
不好意思,我學英文的方式有點怪,我是logic base的 |

提示:这个错误可能比较高难度,一般人都会忽略
不要再把时态/tenses改来改去了,时态没问题。 |

晕,改到五花八门,看得我眼花缭乱......
还是揭晓答案吧:
原句:I've got a terrible headache. I tried to take an aspirin, but it didn't help me.
订正:I've got a terrible headache. I tried taking an aspirin, but it didn't help.
(1) me 是多余的,
(2) to take 改为 taking
try to take an aspirin 和 try taking an aspirin,意思不尽相同
try to take an aspirin 的含义是:
服用阿司匹林药片是一件困难的事,所以我必须作一番努力,尝试把药吞下去
try taking an aspirin 的含义是:
服用阿司匹林药片试一试,看对病症是否有效
另一个例子:
I tried to get up early......
(早起对我来说是一件困难的事,我必须做出一番努力,尝试早起)
I tried getting up early......
(我尝试早点起身,看会有什么效果,例如,看看是否能改善我的健康)
更多例子:
Please try to understand. = 请设法理解。
(这是很难理解的,需要一番努力尝试去理解)
He tried to learn Japanese. = 他尝试学习日语。
(学日语是很困难的一件事,他花了一番苦心,尝试去学习)
I tried sending her flowers but it didn't have any effect.
= 我试着给她送花,但没什么结果。
(我尝试用送花这个方法来打动她的心,但不成功)
try + [不定式/infinitive]
意思是某件事很难做,必须努力尝试去做,例如:
try to open the door
(= 门很难开,得用力尝试)
try to pass the test
(= 测验很难,得努力尝试)
try + [动名词/gerund]
意思是做某件事试一试,看结果/效果怎么样,例如:
try opening the door
(= 把门打开试一试......看是否能让房间更凉快些)
try putting in some soy sauce
(= 加入一些酱油试一试......看是否会更好吃) |

I had a terrible headache
原句是 I've got...现在还在痛,改去过去式,意思也改变了。
我的問題是,did not help<-可不可以翻譯為之前幫不到,可是現在可能幫到
而 does not help <- 到現在還是幫不到?
原句说:I tried taking an aspirin, but it didn't help. (已订正)
过去服了药(took),但那个方法(过去)帮不到我(didn't help),所以我现在还在头痛 I've got a headache. |

其實我覺得不好意思,想問一個很白癡的問題,什么是gerund?
有沒有關于gerund的解說? |

gerund 就是 动词 + ing,如 playing, going, being, working
但这些也同时称为[现在分词/present participle],那有什么不同?怎么分辨?
当 (be) + ...ing 的时候,如:
is eating; are playing, am working; was thinking; were going
这些 ing 动词都是 [现在分词/present participle]
但,ing 动词也有[名词/noun]的功能,可以当做名词使用,如:
I like swimming.
Smoking is bad for your health.
Seeing is believing.
这些 ing 动词的功能,就如名词一样,
这一类的 ing 动词,都是 [动名词/gerund]
所谓“动名词”,就是由动词形成的名词。
当然,ing 动词也有[形容词/adjective]的功能,如:
a sleeping baby
running water
a barking dog
这些 ing 动词的功能,就如形容词一样,
这一类 ing 动词,都是 [现在分词/present participle]
(应该是称为现在分词,有一丝丝的不确定,有些 ing 动词,字典都注明是形容词) |

老師這樣解釋我明白了,可是如果這要分辨的話,我覺得我會把gerund和ing 動詞[adjective]弄亂 |

Are you thinking of buying a new car?
Are you thinking to buy a new car?
什么时候用to buy 什么时候用of buying.
to buy 在这里只是意思不一样对么? 怎么会错呢. 真的不会用 |

不是不一样,是错误
“think to buy” 是错误语法。 |
